Hi Gail,
My Sandy gets a bath 2x/month given of Steve. When STeve tells her it's bath time, she starts walking towards the bathroom but with some apprehension. But afterwards, ud know she feels alot better coz she'll be running n jumping n rolling, very playful , she feels refreshed.

What makes me wonder is that she always smell good, even between baths. The only time she gets stinky is when she goes out in the morning n gets alittle wet from dew n thats when the distinct dog smell comes. Other than that, she almost smells like blueberry muffin.

Thanks!

Yeah, dogs do NEED baths. They won't only be stinky and dirty, but they'll also be susceptible to fleas.

I think those who don't believe in bathing dogs are concerned about maintaining the oils on their dogs' coats. It's true actually, bathe a dog too often, and it could affect his coat. But it wouldn't hurt to give him a bath at least once a month.

Really cute story on Shantee's bathing session, she is so adorable. I bathe my dog every month, cause then she starts to get stinky, but some people do not believe in bathing dogs. I can not seem to understand why, they need to be clean too, and I think they feel better when they are clean.
Great article.
