Ever since I put up this blog in June 2007, I’ve been getting email messages asking me for price lists. Apparently, a lot think that I’m selling dog clothes
I’m not, and I just like dressing up my pooch. And yep, I do make most of my dogs’ clothes, but nothing really extravagant.
I’ve always wanted to make a really nice gown for Shantee, but I honestly don’t have enough patience for the details. The most detailed dress I’ve probably ever done for Shantee was her dog wedding gown, but after that, the most I made for her are dresses that don’t really have much details. I don’t really know much about sewing techniques. After all, I’m just doing this for fun.
Luckily, our generous friends from Doodles Paw Couture (DPC) made Shantee’s “dream” of having a real doggie gown a reality!

I’m no fashion designer, but this gown fits The Dog Fashionista’s personality perfectly, wouldn’t you say?

Summer is coming to an end, but Shantee’s still having some hangovers
We keep the air-conditioner on during office hours and let the dogs wander as we go about our work. Of course, Shantee needs to glam it up while “working” at our home office!

That’s Shantee’s summer “office girl” look — conservative cuts but with the bright hues of summer. It’s the same dress she wore during her TV shoots with the Kulilits and Zooperstars crew. The summery colors just looked great on TV!
We got this dog dress from a shop in Tiendesitas for about Php150-200. I can’t remember the exact amount, but I do remember it being on sale. Shantee just loves it!!!
Last Thursday, Shantee “got married” to Peter, our old hamster, for the Sunday television episode of Rated K on ABS-CBN. Shantee and Peter’s unique friendship was one of their main stories, and my pets took part in the pet blessing ceremony they had for their Valentines’ Day special.

Of course, I made Shantee a gown. I couldn’t let her “walk down the aisle” an under-dressed bride! Read more
First off… Happy New Year to all!
Shantee partied with the humans in welcoming 2008. So yep, I just had to make her a Polka-dot New Year dog dress!

I got the black and white polka-dots cloth from my mom’s stock. And luckily, I also found a red chiffon cloth I was able to use as a sash/belt for Shantee. Why polka-dots? Well, it’s because of this Filipino-Chinese tradition, you see. Read more
When my dad told me that we’ll be going to two family parties on Christmas Eve and another one on Christmas Day, and that Marc and I could bring Shantee along in these family reunions, we figured that she should be dressed up for the occasion.

I made Shantee a red velvet dress with gold trimmings, which strongly reminded me of the Ghost of Christmas Past from the movie, “A Christmas Carol,” whenever she wears it. But my husband Marc calls it “Shantee’s Harry Potter Dress.” Read more
